A private spot and a device. The link is sent ahead of time with nothing to download. A booked meeting room or a parked car both work; an open-plan desk does not.

Why would I work with someone outside Greater Manchester?

Mostly you would not need to, and I would say so. Where it makes sense is if you want a counsellor who works specifically with men, or you would rather the person you talk to is not part of the same city you live and work in. If neither applies, someone local is a perfectly good answer.
Do you work with men in Manchester city centre as well as the boroughs?

Yes. Online has no catchment, so the city centre, the ten boroughs and the towns between them are all the same to me. Where you are matters far less than whether you have somewhere private to talk.
Can we do a session from the office?

If you have a room with a door that shuts and nobody walking in, yes. A lot of men use a booked meeting room or their car in the car park. What does not work is an open-plan desk with headphones, because you will manage the room instead of the session.
How long do people usually work with you?

It varies widely and I would rather not pretend otherwise. Some men come for a single session to get clear on one decision. Others work over several months. Blocks start at four sessions because that is usually enough to tell whether it is helping.
What if I need someone in person later on?

Then that is worth doing, and I will help you look. Starting online does not commit you to staying online, and it does not make it harder to move to someone local afterwards.
