For organisations

Workplace EAP
& Safeguarding

Two things consistently under-resourced in UK workplaces: a named person your team can call when something goes wrong, and the infrastructure to catch problems before they do. This is both.

Retained EAP counselling

Most workplace EAP packages are anonymous helplines staffed by people your team will never speak to twice. This is different: a named NCPS Accredited counsellor, retained for dedicated clinical hours, with a guaranteed response window. Your team knows who to call. That makes them more likely to call.

I work with a strictly limited number of organisations so capacity is genuine - not theoretical. I don't accept every application.

Suicide safeguarding

Chris holds ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training) certification, meaning he can act as a designated Suicide Safeguarding Lead for your organisation - fulfilling a duty-of-care gap that most HR and EAP packages leave open.

This includes an organisational safeguarding audit to identify current exposure and gaps in your existing support structure, benchmarked against UK standards.

Named counsellor

NCPS Accredited. Your team works with Chris directly - not a different voice every time.

ASIST trained

Suicide safeguarding lead capability. Structured crisis conversations without panic or automatic disclosure.

Retained hours

Guaranteed clinical access. Not a helpline queue - dedicated time, confirmed in advance.

Limited intake

I don't accept all applications. This protects the quality and speed of response for every partner.

Corporate partnerships

Retained Workplace EAP
& Safeguarding Provisions.

We provide exclusive, retained EAP counselling and safeguarding infrastructure for a select number of forward-thinking organisations. Because we guarantee rapid crisis response and dedicated clinical hours, we strictly limit our corporate intake.

Choose the path that best fits your current operational urgency– most organisations start with the audit.

Before you enquire

Questions worth asking.

What's the difference between the consultancy and the EAP?+
Consultancy is training-focused: safeguarding skills, protocols, and an audit of your current duty-of-care exposure. The EAP is relational: a retained counsellor your employees can contact directly for one-to-one support. Many organisations need both; some start with one.
Who does my team actually speak to?+
Me, directly. I work with a small number of organisations specifically so I can be a named, consistent presence, not a rota of unfamiliar voices. Your employees will know who they're calling.
How quickly can someone on my team reach you?+
Same-day call for clients on the higher support tiers, or within 2 working days as standard. Response times are written into the retainer agreement, not left as an aspiration.
Do you only work with male employees?+
No. Private practice is male-focused, but workplace services support your whole team regardless of gender or background.
How many organisations do you work with at once?+
A deliberately small number. Limiting intake is what makes genuine availability possible. I don't accept every enquiry. If I can't commit properly, I'll say so.
What does the safeguarding audit cover?+
Current duty-of-care gaps, your existing support structures, where your organisation is exposed against UK standards, and practical steps to close the gap. It produces a written report and a recommended action plan.
